Check out Kenmore’s New GREEN City Hall

The photos below were taken at 9:00 PM Sunday night. As far as this crow could tell the building was completely unoccupied.

That’s nearly every exterior and interior light turned on. For nobody.

All the inside lights on in the entry room. Those things at the top that look like ceiling tiles that are falling off are the “art.”

All the lights on in the rear first floor meeting room, too. No signs of anyone at all inside the building.

Don’t you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, knowing that our fancy new City Hall is so green? I know I do.

  1. Do my eyes deceive me or did you just walk inside what should be a secure worksite and take pictures inside the new City Hall?

I wonder if the local homeless and teen population know about this.

  2. All the fences have been taken down. Anyone can walk right up to the building now. I didn’t go inside though, just shot some pics through the windows.

  3. You know what is the best? The “Art” outside the main entrance that appeared to be almost ripped from the ceiling when there was a slight gust of wind. They look like Lily Pads/ceiling tiles hanging from wires? They will not last long……I was afraid to get a closer look since they were swinging so wildly in the breeze.

  4. Ah yes, that would be these:

    hecka art

When I saw them from a distance, I seriously thought that it was a bunch of unfinished lighting that the installers had just left a tangle of wires hanging off of.

  5. [...] you believe that the photos I posted here last week do not represent the regular goings-on at our nearly-open new City Hall, I present a brand new set [...]

The reasoning for the lights on is to test loads coming through for an alotted amount of time. Get a life people. SERIOUSLY. Get a little more knowledge before you start talking trash.
